Die Chancen stehen gut, dass eine oder mehrere Personen eine Uhr von FOSL tragen. Das Unternehmen verkauft j\u00e4hrlich rund 30 Millionen Uhren. In den letzten zehn Jahren hat FOSL seinen Umsatz von ca. 1 TP 5 T 1,2 Mrd. auf \u00fcber 1 TP 5 T 3 Mrd. gesteigert. Leder und Schmuck sind vergleichsweise kleine Segmente. Auch wenn das Unternehmen der Ansicht ist, dass es in Asien Wachstumschancen gibt, wird in diesem Artikel in \u00e4hnlicher Weise nur begrenzt \u00fcber das Wachstum in Asien gesprochen.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Gegenwind<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Die Einnahmen von FOSL erreichten im Gesch\u00e4ftsjahr 2014 mit etwa $3,5 Mrd. ihren H\u00f6hepunkt. In den beiden aufeinanderfolgenden Gesch\u00e4ftsjahren ist sein Umsatz auf ungef\u00e4hr $3,2 Mrd. (2015) und ungef\u00e4hr $3Bn f\u00fcr 2016 zur\u00fcckgegangen.<\/p>\n<p>FOSL scheint unter dem allgemeinen Einbruch im station\u00e4ren und motorisierten Einzelhandel zu leiden: Mangel an Laufkundschaft in seinen Gesch\u00e4ften, da Eink\u00e4ufe online abgewickelt werden. Obwohl das Unternehmen \u00fcber eine Omni-Channel-F\u00e4higkeit verf\u00fcgt, hinkt es der sogenannten Herausforderung von Amazon hinterher.<\/p>\n<p>Dar\u00fcber hinaus stellt die Einf\u00fchrung der Apple iwatch im Jahr 2015 sowie eine Flut anderer tragbarer Technologieangebote (z. B. Fitbit) eine Herausforderung f\u00fcr den traditionellen Uhrenmarkt dar.<\/p>\n<p>Jedes Wachstumsunternehmen, das bei seiner Umsatzausweitung einen Speedbump erf\u00e4hrt, wird wahrscheinlich unverh\u00e4ltnism\u00e4\u00dfige Gewinnr\u00fcckg\u00e4nge erleiden. FOSL ist keine Ausnahme. Sein Nettoeinkommen fiel 2015 um \u00fcber 401 TP4T und d\u00fcrfte sich 2016 wieder mindestens halbieren.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Misfit-Akquisition<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Angesichts dieser Ertragseinbu\u00dfen klammert sich FOSL nicht an die Vergangenheit. Im Jahr 2015 erwarb das Unternehmen Misfit, ein Unternehmen f\u00fcr tragbare Technologie, f\u00fcr $236 Millionen. Wie FOSL in seinem Jahresbericht dieses Jahres erkl\u00e4rte, bestand der Hauptzweck der \u00dcbernahme darin, eine skalierbare Technologieplattform zu erwerben, die in das Mehrmarkenportfolio des Unternehmens integriert werden kann, eine native Wearable-Technologiemarke und eine Pipeline innovativer Produkte. 2016 sah die geplante Integration und <em>Fossil Q<\/em> wurde f\u00fcr die Weihnachtszeit sowie andere Marken im FOSL-Universum eingef\u00fchrt, wie die Marke Armani, <em>EA verbunden<\/em>. Da FOSL sowohl mit seinem alten Uhrensegment als auch mit seinem neuen Wearables-Segment in die Weihnachtszeit geht, k\u00f6nnte dies der Beginn einer mehrj\u00e4hrigen Trendwende sein.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Finanz\u00fcbersicht<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Die Finanzkennzahlen von FOSL sind f\u00fcr einen Investor attraktiv. FOSL hat seine F\u00e4higkeit bewiesen, in den letzten f\u00fcnf Jahren einen best\u00e4ndigen freien Cashflow (FCF) mit einem normalisierten durchschnittlichen FCF von ca. $260m zu generieren. Nachdem alle Barmittel f\u00fcr Wartung und Investitionswachstum wieder in das Unternehmen reinvestiert werden mussten, ist eine solche Zahl beeindruckend. (NYSE:<a href=\"http:\/\/seekingalpha.com\/symbol\/FIT\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">FIT<\/a>), um ein Gef\u00fchl f\u00fcr seine Bewertung im Vergleich zu einem Konkurrenten zu bekommen.
