Il y a eu des moments o\u00f9 j&#039;ai \u00e9t\u00e9 frustr\u00e9 par la bureaucratie et le traitement auxquels j&#039;ai \u00e9t\u00e9 expos\u00e9 pendant le voyage vers ma citoyennet\u00e9, m\u00eame si j&#039;ai d\u00e9pens\u00e9 plus de 40 000 \u00a3 pour l&#039;\u00e9ducation au Royaume-Uni, pay\u00e9 des dizaines de milliers d&#039;imp\u00f4ts, et J&#039;esp\u00e8re avoir apport\u00e9 une contribution positive \u00e0 la nation gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 mon travail. Mais malgr\u00e9 ces soucis, \u00e0 part Mumbai o\u00f9 je suis n\u00e9 et j&#039;ai grandi, il n&#039;y a pas de ville au monde dans laquelle je vivrais \u00e0 part Londres, du moins pour le moment.<\/p>\n<p>Le gouvernement britannique, le HMRC et les grandes entreprises ont tous aid\u00e9 des start-ups par le biais de r\u00e9gimes fiscaux, de subventions, de mentorat, etc., et nous avons eu la chance de b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier de certaines de ces sources. Nous souhaitons naturellement rendre la pareille en payant notre juste part d&#039;imp\u00f4ts, en embauchant des personnes au Royaume-Uni, en soutenant d&#039;autres entrepreneurs et entreprises et en aidant Londres \u00e0 conserver le titre de capitale FinTech du monde. Mais en tant que start-up, nous devons \u00eatre maigres, agiles, efficaces et surtout, nous devons SURVIVRE! Nous avons collect\u00e9 des fonds de d\u00e9marrage et ne pourront durer que quelques mois, nous devons donc tirer le meilleur parti de notre argent et de notre temps.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bureaucratie - embauche, gestion, licenciement<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>L&#039;embauche d&#039;une personne au Royaume-Uni vous oblige \u00e0 cr\u00e9er un contrat et \u00e0 g\u00e9rer le traitement de la paie et les paiements de votre banque. Vous ne pouvez pas facilement renvoyer un employ\u00e9 dont les performances ne sont pas \u00e0 la hauteur - vous devez suivre un long processus et vous pouvez vous exposer \u00e0 des litiges.<\/p>\n<p>D&#039;un autre c\u00f4t\u00e9, embaucher via eLance est simple: trouvez la personne, utilisez des contrats standard, approuvez les feuilles de temps et le paiement est d\u00e9bit\u00e9 sur PayPal. Facile!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Manque de talents technologiques ad\u00e9quats au Royaume-Uni<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Si vous \u00eates un entrepreneur au Royaume-Uni, vous allez adorer la situation actuelle - pas assez de talents de qualit\u00e9 venant dans le pays; par cons\u00e9quent, vos tarifs journaliers augmentent. D&#039;un autre c\u00f4t\u00e9, en tant qu&#039;entreprise, il peut \u00eatre difficile de trouver des personnes poss\u00e9dant les comp\u00e9tences dont vous avez besoin, et m\u00eame si vous le faites, vous ne pouvez pas les payer. Il est relativement facile pour les grandes entreprises d&#039;aspirer des talents de qualit\u00e9 en offrant des avantages financiers in\u00e9gal\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>L&#039;autre probl\u00e8me dont la plupart des gens ne sont pas conscients est que le manque de talent signifie que les jeunes dipl\u00f4m\u00e9s peuvent ne pas obtenir le mentorat n\u00e9cessaire pour am\u00e9liorer leurs comp\u00e9tences.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Co\u00fbts salariaux<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Lorsque vous embauchez une personne au Royaume-Uni, vous ne les embauchez pas pour un an, vous les embauchez pour 11 mois en raison du droit minimum aux vacances annuelles. Je ne suis pas contre cette id\u00e9e, mais en tant que start-up, c&#039;est inabordable.<\/p>\n<p>Au fur et \u00e0 mesure que les outils de communication et de collaboration en ligne s&#039;am\u00e9liorent, \u00e0 mesure que les gens s&#039;habituent \u00e0 travailler dans plusieurs fuseaux horaires et que la langue anglaise devient plus dominante dans certains march\u00e9s \u00e9mergents non anglais, le co\u00fbt de l&#039;arbitrage est trop \u00e9norme pour \u00eatre ignor\u00e9 pour les start-ups.<\/p>\n<p>Nous pouvons embaucher un d\u00e9veloppeur senior rockstar en Ukraine, en Inde ou au Vietnam, et payer beaucoup moins que ce que nous aurions \u00e0 d\u00e9bourser pour un d\u00e9veloppeur junior inexp\u00e9riment\u00e9 au Royaume-Uni!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Engagement et attitude envers le travail<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Je ne souhaite pas g\u00e9n\u00e9raliser, et ce qui suit n&#039;est certainement pas le reflet de ceux qui travaillent avec moi au Royaume-Uni. En fait, les personnes qui travaillent avec nous au Royaume-Uni ont \u00e9t\u00e9 s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9es en fonction de leur engagement et de leur attitude exemplaires. J&#039;admets que moi aussi, j&#039;ai peut-\u00eatre \u00e9t\u00e9 coupable d&#039;une conduite similaire alors que j&#039;\u00e9tais dans un travail d&#039;entreprise p\u00e9p\u00e8re.<\/p>\n<p>Cependant, en termes g\u00e9n\u00e9raux, au Royaume-Uni, nous avons trop de distractions sociales, avons le soutien de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 sociale du gouvernement, ce qui signifie que nous ne nous soucions pas vraiment du succ\u00e8s d&#039;une entreprise, ne travaillons efficacement que quelques heures dans la journ\u00e9e des huit n\u00e9cessaires. heures, et ne faites que ce qu&#039;on nous dit de faire. D&#039;autre part, nous constatons que les personnes que nous recrutons dans les \u00e9conomies \u00e9mergentes sont plus proactives, efficaces et travaillent plus efficacement que celles du Royaume-Uni. Si vous voulez une vie confortable, les start-up ne sont pas pour vous!<\/p>\n<p><strong>En r\u00e9sum\u00e9<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Nous serions ravis de travailler pour changer cela et sommes ouverts aux commentaires d&#039;autres entrepreneurs au Royaume-Uni.
